Brilliant colors abound in the abstract paintings by Camille Haner,
Ms. Haner’s style is very much directed toward interpreting architectural subjects within an abstract context. Colors in her paintings are an exciting visual experience for color cooperates with a light to a dark value structure to create the composition.
Camille Haner was born and educated in France. She attended l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Lyon, France, where she studied design for three years. She holds a Bachelor of Fine arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (I.U.P.) where she studied printmaking, drawing and graphic design.
Ms. Haner was the recipient of the First Prize of the Greensburg Art Association Annual Juried Exhibition at the Westmoreland County Museum in Pennsylvania, and also won first prize at the exhibition of The President's Selection Show on the campus of I.U.P. She has also shown her work in Musee Beaubourg at the Pompidou Center, Paris, France and in private galleries in Brussels, Belgium, The Hague, Holland and Johannesburg, South Africa. |
